Outstanding members of the Pure Healthcare staff are recognized with Bouquet of Recognition Awards for Excellence. Honorees personify the qualities found in the mission and vision of Pure Healthcare and are the foundation upon which a remarkable patient experience is built. These staff members consistently demonstrate excellence through their expertise and extraordinary compassionate support for patients and families. They are recognized as outstanding role models.

Nancy Silverman, APRN palliative care at Pure Healthcare, was recently recognized for the second quarter of 2021 with a DAISY Award®, which recognizes nurses for consistently demonstrating excellence through her clinical expertise and extraordinary compassionate care.

Nancy was nominated by Camy Nelson, APRN hospice and palliative care at Pure Healthcare, for her thorough care and documentation and ensuring the continuity of care.

“Nancy is so kind, listens well, shows compassion, is relational, and does a great job having hard conversations with families. She helps families see the reality of suffering and burden, and in turn those families express their appreciation,” Camy wrote in her nomination letter. “I have not been a palliative care nurse practitioner for long, but when I grow up, I want to be like Nancy.”
